Natural, untreated Ethiopian Opal choker on custom dyed silk cord with solid 14k gold findings.

21” strand with 3-7mm graduated Ethiopian Opal beads and 14k gold magnetic clasp. Approximately 66 carats of opals and four 14k gold beads to play off the colors in the strand.

Store your opals in the included jewelry bag or box.

Opals can absorb fluids, so put them on after you’ve applied any cosmetics, hair products, and/or perfumes. Should you get stuck in a rainstorm…don’t panic. Take them off as soon as possible and then dry them off. If any discoloration has occurred, the water has been absorbed by the opals. Wrap them in undyed tissue paper and put them in a drawer. Change the tissue paper every day until the discoloration disappears. This can be hours to weeks depending on how much water was absorbed by the opals.

Clasp is a 14k gold magnet style, making it easy to put on without having it get stuck on hair or clothing. Also works well for anyone with hand issues. The magnets are very strong!
